These are a first for me - but fun!

You Are Chocolate Chip Ice Cream

You are kind, popular, and generous.

You tend to be successful at anything you try.

A social butterfly, you are great at entertaining a crowd.

You are most compatible with strawberry ice cream.

I'm Green - what about you?

You Are a Green Crayon

Your world is colored in harmonious, peaceful, natural colors.

While some may associate green with money, you are one of the least materialistic people around.

Comfort is important to you. You like to feel as relaxed as possible - and you try to make others feel at ease.

You're very happy with who you are, and it certainly shows!

Your color wheel opposite is red. Every time you feel grounded, a red person does their best to shake you.

When it rains it pours!

Okay, so here are some more posts...you must admit I'm getting better at this. Unfortunately when I do post, you have to read about 5 new posts. But hey, beggars can't be choosers. :)

Braden's new best friend

These are our home teachers. They are great, and now my kids are in love with them. This is Braden refusing to sit anywhere but right next to Aaron. He had to go through every picture on the Look and Find book. During the lesson, Braden kept tapping Aaron to show him more pictures and when I told him he needed to be quiet and listen, he started whispering as he tapped Aaron. It was hilarious! He had no concept of "he's busy" but what kid does huh? Luckily Aaron was great at just picking up where he left off after finding Elmo and Winnie the Pooh. And during the prayer, Braden was snuggling up to him, what a Cutie!

What a girl!

This is a little bit of what Brinley is up to lately. She is "huge" on swaddling her babies in blankets/dish towels. It's also a means of much frustration for her. But this is her latest technique, it's very clever how she goes around the head and across the front. She figured that out herself. She gets a little obsessive with straight blankets (notice the top picture). She likes every corner to be perfectly straight. It's a pain when Braden walks in the room, but it's great now that she's learning to make her own bed.
Brinley and Brody were having a "great time" together the other day. They look very depressed, but they were having fun watching a movie together, eating a little snack. Brinley is beginning to have this "bossy/calming" effect on her friends. She likes to get the boys to do what she is doing (notice the pink blanket they're sharing). The other day I also saw her getting Braden and Jared to whisper because they were "playing a game". Okay, you'd know how odd that is if you have ever seen Braden and Jared play together. I'm sensing a little of myself in her. :)

"Like Mommy"

This is a first for Braden - make up! He was hiding behind the recliner with my makeup. Luckily the mess was not too bad. But when I went to wash his face, he put his hand on his cheek to cover it up and said "Noooo, like mommy." Okay, so it was darling, but I hope that's now how my makeup looks! :)

Big Brother Braden

Braden has been loving babies lately, it's very cute. This is his favorite doll right now, and he only plays with it once in a while, but when he does it's very cute. He did this all by himself. It gets me very excited for his little brother to come.

Sleepy Heads

On Saturday (last week) we went to a Birthday Party for Sebastian, our neighbor. It was so much fun! They had a huge bounce house with a massive slide, seriously Marc was able to jump and go down the slide. It was awesome! The kids had so much fun. Braden was Mr. Gutsy, he would go on his back head first....crazy kid. Luckily there was a big pillow at the end to catch them. Afterwards, we had dinner and gave the kids baths. We told them if they stayed on Mom and Dad's bed they could watch a movie while going to sleep (we never do this for obvious reasons) but this is what we found on 10 minutes later. It was so cute. Now we know, offer the fun things when they are worn out and we are both winners!

Okay, so we are TV junkies at times. My kids love to slide their chairs together at meals to watch TV. It's really cute. But this time, Marc was wanting to watch something (we can't remember....it was probably a basketball game during March Madness). So he pulled his chair over by the kids to watch his show. What can I say, I have 3 kids and one on the way :) He's such a good dad, he loves playing with the kids and doing everything that they do. Oh, and if you haven't noticed...yes we are eating french toast and peaches (from the can) for dinner. :) One of our favorites!

Conference Weekend

For conference weekend we went out to Marc's parents house. All of the family in California was able to come it was really fun to see everyone. We didn't get many pictures, but here are some with Marc's Grandpa Bobik and his wife Ampy. They are great with our kids, she is obviously enjoying a party with the kids (putting their nemo bowls on their heads before dinner). They also brought each of the kids an altoid box with a bead necklace in it. Who would have thought it would be the best gift they'd ever received. They are actually still playing with them today. I must say I'm not a fan of Braden in a gold chain :) :) Let's hope he gets it out of his system now. Marc's Grandma Bobik came the night before this for dinner. We had a blast. It was here that we actually started potty training Braden! I know....how much more can one family take in a single weekend?
